Fall Breakfast For Two In The Garden: You Choose Red Or Blue?

The weather this past weekend was perfect for an intimate breakfast for two outdoors.  My inspiration?  The Napoleonic bee glasses by La Rochere and toile.

The setting?  The garden wall.  The problem?  Which color of toile?  I couldn’t decide so I whipped up a couple table arrangements using both red and blue.

Won’t you join me?

The polychrome terra cotta freize on the wall came from a demolished building in Chicago and dates to around 1880.

A small token from Provence makes for an impromptu vase for the season’s last black-eyed susans.

Vintage Parisian knives are right at home surrounded by toile.

Or are you in a blue mood?

Fresh hydrangeas fill an empty cobalt bottle (it used to be an Arizona Iced Tea bottle!).

French vintage bistro cups and saucers will elevate coffee drinking to a romantic notion.

Grab some glasses and head out to the garden while the weather is still beautiful and gardens are in their autumn bloom.  Some of my knock out roses are still blooming.

I noticed One Kings Lane has the La Rochere bee glasses available HERE.

Summer is fleeting so take advantage of a beautiful fall by eating outdoors before the cold of winter sets in.

Blessings,

Kim

Alfresco dining is my preference, and your table for two is most inviting. Either toile choice would please my senses. I have a set of the Napoleonic Bee La Rochere glasses. Love them!
