I'm a Francophile in constant pursuit of beautiful things for the home.
Interior design is my background,
French antiques are my passion. I’m a born and bred Southern girl who loves family, friends, entertaining, and
gracious refined living with my own interpretation of Country French Style!
I’m
also a wife, mother, and former educator re-claiming
my first career in design. I love vintage Chanel and Hermès scarves, my favorite movie is A Good Year (set in Provence), and I’m absolutely crazy
about my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Murphy. I wish I could speak French (I'm still working on that!) and I'm not a photographer but I'm madly in love with Paris and take gazillions of photos when I'm there.
I always look forward to travel to France to shop for French vintage and antiques. It's a dream come true for me. I'd love to have you join me on a Fall Brocanting Tour in France!
This blog is where I share my notes about French antique furniture, décor ideas, and travel. I describe my signature style as mixing French Country and traditional Southern Blue Grass living with a bit of modern chic. I like interiors that are beautifully relaxed, edited for livability and not fussy. I also love it when antiques and contemporary furnishings come together to make a fresh and exciting statement in a room.
