The 1st “Kimberly Hites: From Paris to Normandy” shopping tour is finally here! On Thursday of this week a great group of gals and myself will be meeting Cat from Sunday Brocantes and her husband Alain in Paris for seven days of glorious French vintage shopping. We’ll be headed to the famous Parisian flea market on Friday then on to Normandy to explore the French countryside. Can you tell I’m excited?
I know I’ve posted this photo before, but I just love it! It’s me and Cat in Trouville last year at this time. I’m so glad I met her.
While everyone is familiar with the sights and allure of Paris, I thought I’d share some romantic images from Normandy.
The architecture is to-die-for.
By the sea…
with beautiful beaches.
Quintessential French- Norman style.
The fresh markets look like an artist’s palette.
“I’ll take 3 please” for my fall décor!
The famous Hotel Normandie.
The vibrant port town of Honfleur.
Crêpes are some of my favorite things to eat.
Centuries old cobblestone streets.
And hidden treasures…
What shall I wear on such an excursion?
A couple casual dresses…
Paired with some boots…
A couple jackets for cool mornings and evenings…
Jeans, black pants and a few tops.
Don’t forget the scarves and a straw bag… Mais oui!
I guess I’m good to go. The French will never know I’m American. LOL Do you think I’ll blend in or look touristy?
