God Is Great, God Is Good...

Let us thank Him...for everything!

This is all I could think about when I woke up on this beautiful Sunday morning.  I saw these gorgeous sunflowers at Trader Joe's yesterday.

My husband had surgery this past week and thanks be to God all the cancer was removed!  We are staying in our Lexington house for now and I wanted to add some color and brightness with fresh flowers.

I snapped a few photos this morning with my Iphone as I was appreciating their beauty.

God uses events like this to teach us about faith and his great love for us.

They remind me that God is in control.  Thank goodness!

And to stop and smell the roses because you never know what life may bring.  Priorities become very clear in times like this.

So count your blessings always and take joy in the small things with family and friends.

On a home decor note:  Look what I recently found at TJ Maxx in the sale isle.  It's a real preserved boxwood topiary.  The tag is identical to the preserved boxwood wreaths that  I ordered from Amazon at Christmas last year.  You have to periodically spray them with water to keep them looking fresh but I think it's so worth it!

Now you know the reason for my absence and sporadic blogging as of late.  (And social media...forget it! ha).  I'll be slowly coming back...but definitely coming back.  Hopefully stronger than ever with God's help.

Hey, I've got a Blogger's Brocanting Tour coming up quickly with a great bunch of gals!

Blessings to each of you,
Kim

Kim- I am so glad that your hubby is okay. My husband went through a bout with cancer almost 3 years ago-they got it all and he did not need radiation or chemo. So far-so good. It is life altering though, isn't it? Blessings! I, too, appreciate and love the small things in life- xo Diana

Kim I am so sorry your husband has had health issues. Sure hope this is the end of it and you both can get back to the business of living - and happily looking at potential new-to-you digs!

I shall keep you both in my prayers.

Praise be to God in the Highest this surgery got it all, whew.

Hugs.
